With that in mind we maintain a warm, caring environment in which the individual needs of each child are met. We are staffed with knowledgeable, experienced teachers and aides who are dedicated to helping children develop in all skill areas. We encourage a child’s natural curiosity and desires to learn and together we will explore, discover and grow. We strive to make preschool a positive experience not only for the child but for the parents as well. Our developmentally appropriate programs encourage learning through the use of various manipulatives. Children play, investigate, question and discover. Each project a child works on is completed with his or her own hands and creativity. We maintain an "open-door" policy. What you get at Tall Pines is a small, family environment. The teachers always make you feel welcome and have time to speak with you. Unlike other school where it is a revolving door of kids coming in and no communication or relationship with you or your child! I highly recommend Tall Pines. June 28, 2009 by Karen in Pearl River, NY We Love Tall Pines Tall Pines is an exceptional pre-school. The teachers are caring and loving. The children learn so much. My daughters attended both the three year old and four year old programs and were so happy going in every morning and even happier coming home in the afternoon. We will miss Tall Pines. My daughter just graduated in June and wants to know if she can take Miss Diane and Miss Donna to kindergarten with her. Much thanks to Tall Pines. Being the youngest, when he first attended the program in September he was difficult to handle, Diane and Donna helped work through this with kindness and discipline. Tall Pines Pre-School is... a wonderful pre-school. My daughter, Paige, wanted to continue going over the summer. That should tell you something!! She blossomed both socially and intellectually over a 10 month period which I do not believe would have been possible had I sent her anywhere else. The individual attention given to each student surpasses any pre-school I have seen.
